Story

Historians believe that southern Ethiopia was a cultural crossroad where people met during the migrations from north, south, east and west Africa. Today in the Omo Valley live many ethnic groups which maintain their own cultural traditions, all different from each other. Hamer tribes live in villages between Turmi and Dimeka where cultivate the land and raise their cattle. They are famous for the original hairstyle and their decorations. Even little girls are always adorned with necklaces and bracelets: generally the necklaces are full of colored beads made from plastic scraps.
