Story

One of the most familiar symbols of tibetan buddhism is the prayer-wheel. It can be found in the courtyards of gompas, where the spinning of the wheel in the clockwise direction is done to spread prayers and blessings. Infact many thousands of holy mantras are wrapped inside the wheel and the spinning of the wheel is commonly accompanied by chanting “Om Mani Padme Hum”. Tsitup, one of the little monks of the gompa, happily spin the wheel as daily task..or just to play.
